We would like to inform you that as of today, Swinkels Machinery BV has taken over the activities of Hermans Machines BV, continuing operations under the new name Swinkels Hermans BV.
Swinkels Machinery was founded in 2018 by Rick Swinkels, who had already gained many years of experience in the sales of earthmoving machines. As the company expanded its activities to include maintenance, repairs, and spare parts, Harm Mertens joined the team and has since become co-owner.
Hermans Machines was founded in 1994 by Jeroen Hermans and has since built a strong reputation as a trusted partner for personal advice, fast service, and a wide range of products and solutions. Although Jeroen was not actively seeking a successor, discussions about the company’s future led to new ideas and opportunities.
The values both companies share—personal attention, honest advice, and a strong focus on service—were the decisive factors for Jeroen to transfer the activities to Swinkels Machinery. In this way, he is confident that his customers will continue to be supported and served with the same dedication after the transition. Jeroen will remain involved in the coming months to ensure a smooth handover, after which he will step back completely.
What does this mean for you?

The service-oriented approach, personal attention, and product range will remain unchanged.

The Hermans Machines location at Vasco da Gamaweg 19 in Venlo will become the main location of Swinkels Hermans.

The current Swinkels Machinery location at Kromvenweg 18a in Lierop will also remain in use.

Phone numbers and email addresses remain unchanged. Jeroen Hermans’ mobile number will stay active but will no longer be used for Swinkels Hermans.

Good to know: whether you’re used to speaking Brabant dialect or Limburg dialect — with Rick from Someren and Harm from Kessel, there’s always someone at Swinkels Hermans who speaks your language.
And Jeroen?
Jeroen will continue his work in hydraulic services. Under the new name Fast Hydraulics, he will focus on producing hydraulic hoses, pipes, and related components. More about that later.
